First Challenge: Mobile Game Development #1

Hello everyone from the OneDayOneSkill blog on Day 3! Just a quick note: the posts here might come a day late because I prefer writing in the early morning when I wake up. After finishing my daily tasks, I dive into Mobile Game Development in the evening, so I take what I work on at night and turn it into a post in the early hours of the morning.

Last night, I sat down and thought about where to start. I was about to step into a completely unfamiliar area, and since I believe the best learning happens on the journey, I decided to jump right in without getting bogged down in too many details.

The type of mobile game I want to create in 30 days is Hyper Casual (think of endless levels like in Candy Crush). One of the reasons I chose this genre is financial concerns; from what I gather, it's the most popular type right now. It seemed more logical to enter the gaming industry with a simpler game concept that could also be more lucrative.

After about 5 minutes of research on YouTube, I stumbled upon a series created by a content creator I don’t know. Since I’m happy with the direction I’m going, I wanted to share it with you all:

Right now, I’m dedicating a maximum of 1 hour a day to this skill, aiming to finish about 1 lesson daily. I completed my first lesson yesterday.

I don’t understand everything yet, but I’m confident I’ll learn along the way.

Thanks for reading this far! If you enjoy my posts and blog, you can support me by leaving comments, sharing with friends, or subscribing to OneDayOneSkill via email. I don’t have any subscribers yet, but I’m sure that will change. See you next time!

First Challenge: Mobile Game Development

Coding Screen

Hello everyone, I’m back to continue my blogging adventure that I started just yesterday! :) For those who haven’t read my first post, I’ll give a quick summary before diving into the main topic.

I created this blog inspired by James Clear’s book Atomic Habits. My goal is to show what I’m doing and to learn new habits and skills alongside all of you. Everything I share here will be completely real, and even if I fail, you can bet I’ll share it here. For more details, you can check out the first post. Now, let’s get to the main topic...

For my first challenge, I’ve chosen an area that really interests me. I don’t have any prior experience in software, so this series could serve as a perfect guide for absolute beginners. Of course, as long as we stay consistent...

The new skill I’m going to learn is mobile game development. It might seem challenging for someone with no coding background, but I believe I can do it! My goal is to develop my first mobile game within 30 days, spending nothing but $0 out of pocket (excluding any one-time fees for publishing on Google Play).

In this series, I’ll be sharing what I’m doing and how much progress I’m making in a transparent way, just like you’d follow daily news! Once I explore the Blogger platform a bit more, I’ll create a dedicated page for this new skill so you can easily follow along.

Thank you for taking the time to read this so far! You can subscribe below to receive my new posts regularly via email, and feel free to share this blog with your friends to support me. I’d really appreciate it! See you tomorrow, and take care!

The Beginning of Everything!

Hello everyone! This blog is created for a person to develop a habit of working and to add new skills to themselves by focusing on this. Yes, it may seem like a rather niche topic, but I’m sure that everyone reading this and exploring my blog will find at least one common point with me. This is my first blog, so it will actually new skill for me. I don't know about blogging, but I've no doubt that I'll improve myself!

The reason I created this blog is entirely due to "James Clear" and his book "Atomic Habits." I was completely inspired by him, and I wanted to share these experiences in a public space. Therefore, I highly recommend that you read this book as well.

The topics I'll share on this blog include personal development, good habits, new skills, and a bit of economics (economic habits or skills).

Thank you for taking time to read this! Goodbye!
